Description of algorithm for the workphase "linear entanglement" 2026

My algorithm for ‘linear entanglement’ chooses randomly two ‘diagonal-paths’ from a higher

dimensional hypercube (A diagonal-path is a segmented line going through each dimension once).

The two segmented lines are connected at their respective vertices with a non-visible line to create

closed quadralaterals which are then filled with random colors. Furthermore additional parameters

choose whether a color is opaque or transparent. A black line along the halfway position

between the two diagonal-paths shows the structural content of the work. At each vertex, crosshair

lines are drawn extending over the whole pictorial area, thus referring to a grid of relationships.

In a non-scientific way, my algorithm could easily be understood by imagining an extendable ladder

where the space between the rungs (crossbars) are filled with random colors. The string which

extends the ladder is a black line following the halfway path between the two sides (legs) of the

ladder. Of course, this visual imagination ends here because the ladder would be twisted and pulled

into 20 or 30 dimensions, suppressing any visual understanding but bringing my work to fruition.
